Tripura Students · Lateral EntryA 20% tuition fee scholarship per semester for external M.Tech students who scored a DGPA of 7.0 or above in their last qualifying examination. Rewards academic excellence at the postgraduate level.

Due to increased applications, freeship on tuition is currently capped at a minimum of 20%. Performance, attendance, and conduct are checkpoints for renewal.
If a student loses their primary earning family member during the course, they are entitled to 50% freeship on tuition as per MAKAUT institutional rules — automatically applicable.
