Yes! NIT allows branch changes after the first year based on your CGPA. Typically, you need to be in the top 10% of your current branch to be eligible for a switch.
No, hostel is not mandatory. However, we strongly recommend it for outstation students as it helps with networking, campus life, and academic support. Hostel facilities are well-maintained with Wi-Fi, mess, and recreational areas.
