About the Conference

With the rise and advancement of computational intelligence, virtually all contemporary technological advancements are fuelled by some form of intelligent processing. Recently, computational intelligence has permeated every corner of the globe, thanks to extensive research exploration in this domain. No longer confined to specific computational realms, computational intelligence now extends its influence into various domains such as signal processing, smart manufacturing, predictive control, robot navigation, smart cities, and sensor design, among others. Recognizing the emphasis placed by the Government of India on the promotion and utilization of computational intelligence, significant efforts are being invested in this pursuit. The forthcoming Doctoral Symposium stands as one such endeavour.

Scheduled for December 21 to December 22, 2026, the 2026 Eighth Doctoral Symposium on Intelligence Enabled Research (DoSIER 2026) is organized by Narula Institute of Technology, Kolkata, India in collaboration with Algebra Bernays University, Croatia. This two-day event seeks to provide doctoral students and early career researchers with a platform to engage with peers exploring the fundamentals, techniques, tools, and applications of computational intelligence

The symposium aims to achieve the following objectives:

  1. Offer participants insightful feedback on their ongoing research and guide them towards future research avenues.
  2. Foster a nurturing community of scholars and encourage collaborative research endeavours.
  3. Facilitate interactions between student participants and seasoned researchers and practitioners within relevant research domains.
  4. Create a platform for a closed research forum, enabling the exchange of knowledge and expertise among participants.
