Departmental Objectives

Department of Computer Applications at Narula Institute of Technology aims to provide excellent education in the field of Computer Science and its applications in solving problems of the society and provide a better tomorrow for the future. The Objective of the Department is to provide a friendly and happy environment for the students to acquire necessary skills to cater to the society and be remembered forever for their contribution in upbringing the lives of the people of the society.

The specific technical objectives of the department however are

1. To build the mathematical foundation of the students which will enable them to develop innovative applications for the industry using computational techniques.
2. To encourage the students to take up higher studies and research as well as industrial or academic career.
3. To uniformly prepare the students from various academic backgrounds towards the same technical proficiency through wide coverage of subjects from fundamentals to specializations.
4. To make them industry ready by including industrial certification courses and industry visits.
5. To build creative and soft skills of the students that will improve their human qualities and employability.
