General information about the Laboratory:This Lab is used in 4th semesters, Student of CSE, IT departments are using this lab, Approximate area of the lab is 1250sq ft, Location of the lab is 2nd Floor and Room No-310B, Average no of student per session 30 to 35, No of setup available is 8, No of students per setup is 4.

Course Outcomes:-

CO1: Understand the Amplitude Modulation techniques in term of modulation index, output power and its’ demodulation.

CO2: Understand the generation techniques of DSB, SSB and detection of the original signal from the modulated signal.

CO3: Design FM Modulator and Demodulator using VCO and PLL.

CO4: Understand the Modulation and Demodulation of PAM signal.

CO5: Analyze the Time Division Multiplexing and De-multiplexing techniques.

  • Study of Frequency Modulation (Fm) and Demodulation.
  • Generation of Pulse Amplitude Modulation and Demodulation.
  • Generation of PWM, PPM and Demodulation Technique.

  • Study of Double Side Band Suppressed Carrier (DSB-Sc) and Demodulation Technique.
  • Study of Single Side Band Suppressed Carrier (SSB-Sc) and Demodulation Technique.
  • Study of Time Division Multiplexing (TDM) And De- multiplexing.

  • Multiple Power Supply: A : 0-30 V, 1 A , 5 V, 1 A Adjustable from 4 V - 6 V, 0 - ± 15 V, 1 A adjustable by means of coarse & fine controls.
