Event on “Web Development and Technologies” with the help of Google Developer Tools
The Google Developer Student Club (GDSC) of Narula Institute of Technology is going to organize an offline event on “Web Development and Technologies with the help of Google Developer Tools” on 28th February, 2023 from 2:00 PM onwards at Sir J.C. Bose Auditorium, NiT College Campus. In this workshop, the fundamentals of web development, including HTML,CSS, and JavaScript will be introduced and discussed challenges associated with building complex web applications using traditional approaches.
Celebration of National Science Day
“The science of today is the technology of tomorrow.”
And with this message in heart, Narula Institute of Technology celebrated the National Science day with two simultaneous events in a single day.
The IIC cell of college organised an event where students displayed posters and prototypes made by them. On the other hand, GDSC – NiT chapter organised an event “Web development and technologies with the help of Google Developer Tools”.
In both the events, students were brimming with enthusiasm as they displayed their ideas and innovations in hand and learnt about fundamental of web development using HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
These events will encourage students of the college to strive for better innovation and upgraded knowledge in technology.
Holi Celebration
The festival of colours have been celebrated in the campus with high spirit and vibrance. The students and staff members set out for a colourful rally which went round the campus and playground.The walls echoed with the popular Bengali folk songs of spring festival and the students danced and welcomed the advent of Spring.A rangoli made with flowers and colours added to the beautification of the institute.The celebration escalated with the entrance of the NiT staff Cricket Team who entered the campus with the winners trophy in the SJSMT 2023.The hues of spring promised happiness and motivation in the humdrum life.
Walk for the Cause
JIS is thrilled to have organized the Walkathon event this morning(18th March) at NIT-JISU campus, honoring front-line covid warriors! It was an absolute delight to have the presence of Bollywood star Rajkumar Rao, who was grandly felicitated by our Director Mr. Simarpreet Singh. And the touching moment was Rao felicitated JIS Group for their role towards mankind during Covid 19 situation, the award was received by Mr. Harinder Singh and Simarpreet Sir on behalf of JIS.
